Driveways 4 You recently completed the transformation of an existing paved patio at a residential property in Stone Abbey, Dublin 16.

The existing patio had become discoloured and lacked a clearly defined edge where the paved area met the lawn. The new patio was designed to create a cleaner, more attractive outdoor space while giving the lawn a clear and defined border.

Existing Patio

The original patio consisted of large paved slabs with a circular feature through the centre of the area. Over time, the paving had become discoloured and weathered, giving the patio a dated appearance.

The edge between the patio and lawn was also not clearly defined, making the outdoor area appear less structured. The new resin patio and granite border provided an opportunity to create a much cleaner and more defined finish.

Resin Patio Installation

The new resin surface was installed to create a fresh and attractive finish across the patio area. The installation photo shows the resin being laid as the new surface was formed across the existing area.

The resin finish provides a consistent appearance across the patio while creating a clean transition between the different areas of the garden.

Silver Granite Patio Border

A key feature of the completed patio is the silver granite border surrounding the resin surface. The granite blocks create a clearly defined edge between the patio and the lawn, giving the outdoor space a more structured and finished appearance.

The light silver granite works particularly well with the resin finish, creating an attractive contrast while neatly framing the patio area.
