Project Overview
Driveways 4 You recently completed the transformation of a worn concrete driveway at a residential property in Ballinteer, Dublin 14.
The existing concrete driveway was removed and the ground was carefully prepared before installation of the new driveway. Proper preparation was carried out to provide a suitable foundation and drainage solution for the new SMA tarmac surface.
Ground Preparation
A key part of this driveway installation was ensuring the ground was properly prepared before the new surface was laid. The existing driveway was removed and the base was prepared to provide a stable foundation with appropriate consideration given to drainage.
Silver Granite Flower Bedding Area
A raised flower bedding area was created along one side of the driveway using silver granite risers. This added a defined border between the driveway and planting area while creating an attractive feature to complement the new tarmac surface.
Silver Granite Bullnose Steps
Silver granite bullnose steps were installed as part of the project, providing a practical and visually appealing entrance feature that complements the granite detailing throughout the driveway.
High-Quality SMA Tarmac Finish
The driveway was finished with a high-quality SMA tarmac surface, providing a durable, smooth and attractive finish. The dark tarmac surface works particularly well alongside the silver granite features, creating a modern and clean appearance.
